Amazing how little I can get to the internet. Can't even remember where I have been in 14 days. Left Sunbury OH on back roads watching family gatherings on the farms on the little two lanes. Almost took out the side of a building in some small town making a right turn, but the book said the road was good for 53's. Think I went to Smithfield VA for a 0300 pick up, then on to Monroe GA for a 0300 delivery 24hrs later. Monroe is not a place to be at 0300 in the morning. It was a wally world d.c., that wanted me depart when finished, but out of hours and with out sleep- found a hiding place and slept for 4 hrs. Then to north of Atlanta to pick up a good load to McLane's in Kissimmee. Remember fighting with fleet mgr, Cheryl over the next outbound. Got a load I acutally lost money on for three days, but Cheryl would not believe it. Then got a couple of great loads that make up for that. Think I went to VA and NC and finally winded up in Detroit. They deadheaded me 375 miles to Champaign IL for a load to Corrine UT that I am on now. Weather yesterday was from England. Windy and rainy. and 5.1 mpg at 60 mph. Am already upset because I know they will give me a potatoe load out of Idaho after this.

Easter Morn. Awoke to the rain on the tractor cab. Have to pick up at Kraft at Groveport OH by 1000 for a 384m run to Salem VA. Have a grocery appt which means they will not let me unload early. I normally hate delivering to grocery warehouses, but hope springs eternal, especially on Easter. Quite fitting actually, as I finished listening to the Anne Rice's book/cd, Jesus Christ The Lord. Was skeptical at first, but a good vidid story. Maybe that will plant the seeds of a return to my Episcopal faith. Just finished a 2200 mile run from Sugar City ID to Conklin NY with the dreaded potatoes. Another hated product as they load to 80000 lbs. Running over the teton range to get over to Wyoming at midnight was interesting. Hwy 26 is now fixed, but still slow at gross. Long loney roads. Snow was still 2-3 deep by the houses down near Pinedale WY. Was pretty in the moonlight. But a long hard haul for a three day run. Good money, almost $3k gross. Rain just started harder. Will probably be lazy and move the truck to the fuel island at the Flying J just to get coffee, then off to Kraft to drop/hook in the rain.
